Meanwhile, Kamdev falls in love with Daksha's daughter Rati. EPISODE 03 The now grown up and beautiful Sati dreams about Lord Shiva, without whom both are incomplete, but Daksha does not approve of this. The irrepressible Kamdev, in the meantime, falls for Apsara Sandhaya in Indralok and so does Brahma.

Stricken by dual guilt, Sandhya, at the instance of Rishi Vashisht, invokes Lord Shiva. EPISODE 04 Lord Shiva appears before Sandhya and as a result of his advice, she is reborn as Arundhati.

After consigning herself to the sacred fire with the blessings of Brahma, Vishnu and Lord Shiva, Arundhati marries Vashisht. On the other hand, Narad tries to convince Daksha to consent to Sati-Lord Shiva wedding, but in vain.
